"Elevated sentiments expressed in everyday language," that's the heart of Candle Flame Greetings. Our trade is greeting cards and related gift items. However, simply put, our true product...is Joy. Our philosophy is to create Expressives—our name for our cards—that inspire, tickle, and draw forth the quiet smiles of familiarity.

Why Cards?

In an era of never-ending email and text messaging, what greater thrill is there than receiving a personal card or letter in the mail? It is so much more special knowing that someone has taken the time to actually handwrite the note. Well, here at Candle-Flame, we want to share that same thrill with you. Our mission is to spread the joy of giving, and receiving, personalized Expressives of every kind to and from those special people in your life.

Haiku

Though the casual read doesn't always reveal it to be so, most of our expressives are written as haiku poems, a traditional form of Japanese poetry that typically consists of three lines of verse, having 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second, and 5 in the third. The brevity of this style gives each of our expressives a certain subliminal rhythm that tickles the mind and is a delight to the ear when read aloud. Candle Flame Haiku is visionary, spiritual, sensual, and fun. Enjoy!
